We went to your lab to have our baby tested for suspected g6pd defficiency. They told us they would text us so I left my mobile number and that it would take 2weeks. I’d like to follow up on that since it’s almost 3weeks. I’m looking forward to any reply whether it be mobile or email. Thank you

    • Khritchie says:

@Daphne Lipawen: I work for Lorma NICU. Unfortunately, you have been given the false assurance that you will be informed once the result is in. I apologize for that. Usually, the parent/s are asked to go back to the laboratory after 2 weeks regardless of the result. (We do not give out the results through text or phone whether positive or negative, for the privacy purposes.)Interpretation and/or additional information regarding the result is solely the pediatrician’s responsibility.

I would advise that you check back with our laboratory staff any time regarding the confirmatory test result, during weekdays, and at office hours, just to be safe.

I hope this information is or will be useful.
      God bless po.
